GLIBE 2015 Back to School Rally set for Saturday, July 25

The Greater Lafayette Indiana Black Expo will hold its 2015 Back to School Rally on the grounds of Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette, 3101 Creasy Lane, on Saturday, July 25.

The Back To School Rally, where GLIBE gives out hundreds of free book bags and school supplies annually, is one of the organization’s biggest events of the year. In 2014, GLIBE set a record giving away nearly 400 book bags to local students. The organization is preparing to do even more this season.

Pamela Walker-Stokes is the new chair of the event and is current working with Ivy Tech officials on the details. This space will be updated as soon as sponsors and other details are available. In the meantime, email for additional information.
